I consciously try to ensure that what I do has a social benefit. One of the primary motivations behind both my academic and professional work is the potential social impact they can have. These days, this benefit revolves around an issue I’ve recently re-conceptualized as the ‘Evolution Controversy in Turkey,’ though it’s more commonly known as the evolution-creationism debate. I believe that resolving this issue could bring significant benefits to our society. Unfortunately, no English version of my ideas on this topic currently exists. Check back soon.
